    Jay was born in little town of Ponyville. Her mother fell head over hooves for the water dragon that lives in a large pond near the small town. After a long year Jaylee was born. She was born with feathery and leather wings. Her mother was a pegasi and she managed to earn both traits from her parents. She was hushed out in the beginning of her life but after a while others got used to seeing the mare around. She grew into a strong young, and beautiful, mare. She moved out of her small town and into Canterlot.

    She moved into a decent home, not to big but not to small. She worked as a maid for the very rich but knew this wasn't who she was, and she wasn't meant to be. She quit the business and was left with no job. She considered moving back to Ponyville when street heard that a new "exotic" club opened a few days ago. Jay heard this and went to see for herself. When she entered the first thing she heard was the loud music it hurt her sensitive ears at first but she got used to it. She observed the dancers on the stage and immediately something sparked in her heart. This was it, this is what she was meant to be, but what? She noticed a sign that shined "Looking for Dancers" She took the flyer and did the most heart felt thing she has ever done in her life.

    When she tried out she didn't know to do. She used her memory of what the dancers were doing and tried her best to mimic them. When she saw the faces of the manager and owner she knew it wouldn't work out for her. She lowered her head and was about to leave when the manager called her back. She turned and saw they were looking at her bright wings. They shined bright in the blue light of the room. She flapped them and she started to dance again this time musing her wings, making the light flash off them. They liked her performance and gave her the job. She was excited and couldn't wait to start. The next day she got custom made items for her bringing them in thre next day and doing what she did best. This job earned her, her cutiemark. It is a small white feather with a collar around it, meaning she uses her wigs to get the job done.
